Within this Shell family, AX5 10W-30 is the mineral motorcycle pick. AX5 Scooter shares the 10W-30 grade, yet its JASO MB use makes it a different product.
To help keep dirt from building into deposits, Shell's AX5 range uses Active Cleansing Technology. The global reference gives API SL and JASO MA; verify any MA2 marking on the bottle sold locally.
10W-30 means a 10W cold rating with SAE class 30 at operating heat. The 10W has nothing to do with engine displacement, and a same-brand 10W-40 is not interchangeable by default.
The bottle contains 1 Litre, which is not the same as the engine's fill quantity. Refill, filter-change and dry capacities can each be different; measure what your specific manual asks for.
