You receive two bottles adding up to 1.2L: a 1L bottle and a separate 200ml one. There is no single 1.2L container, and the small bottle isn't a sign that every bike needs 200ml extra.
Each Bajaj manual sets out its own oil specification and fill amount per motorcycle. The DTS-i Premium pack by itself doesn't prove a fit for every Pulsar, Discover or Avenger version.
At SAE hot class 50, 20W-50 is thicker than grade-30 or grade-40 oils. Thicker doesn't automatically protect better—use it only where your manual permits the grade and the performance standard lines up.
The 1.2L comes split as 1L and 200ml. Crack open the small bottle only if your measured fill calls for more, and store leftover oil sealed. Never overfill just to use up both.
Check that the bottle's API and JASO clutch ratings match your manual before buying. Keep to the listed oil-change schedule, plus any heavier-duty advice for constant short rides or congested roads.
