In our range, Scooter LE 10W-30 is the 800ml Motul oil meant for scooters. Although it shares an SAE grade with 3000 Plus 10W-30, that one is a motorcycle oil and a separate product.
Motul builds the Scooter LE four-stroke line with HC-Tech. The 10W-30 data sheet it refers to shows API SL and JASO MB. Check that the bottle you receive matches; MB use is not the same as MA/MA2 oils for wet-clutch motorcycles.
In 10W-30, the 30 is the SAE class when hot, while 10W tells you about cold behaviour—nothing to do with engine cc. A 10W-40 sits in another hot class, even from the same maker.
The bottle holds 800 ml, which is not the same as what your engine needs. A plain drain, a filter change and a dry engine can all call for different volumes, so measure to your exact manual.
If your scooter asks for JASO MB, look for the MB mark on the bottle you get. Never put MB oil into a wet-clutch motorcycle that needs MA or MA2, however well the SAE grade lines up.
