Need the 10W-30 version of Motul 7100? This 1L bottle is it, fully synthetic. The 7100 name also appears on 10W-40 and 20W-50 packs, but the grade sets this one apart.
Motul builds the 7100 line as a 100% synthetic road motorcycle oil using Ester technology. Its current reference shows API SP and JASO MA2, though older stock may list an earlier API grade.
In 10W-30, the "30" is the SAE viscosity class at operating temperature, while "10W" refers to cold behaviour — nothing to do with engine cc. A 10W-40 sits in another hot class, same brand or not.
One bottle holds 1 Litre, which may be more or less than your engine's fill. Refill quantity changes with filter replacement and differs again for a dry engine; measure what your manual specifies.
Check two things against your owner's manual before buying: the API rating and the JASO clutch spec. Then stick to its change interval, including the tougher schedule for short hops and stop-go traffic.
